Certainly going to church does not make you a Christian. However, as a Christian it is important to be associated with people who gather in the name of Christ. We experience meaningful worship through prayer, song, and the sacraments. We are energized, as we receive a message of God’s word and the teachings of Christ by attending church.
Methodists commit to support our church with our Presence. This includes being involved in church activities, ministry teams (committees), and the outreach opportunities that are supported by our church.
Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”
Attend Worship service regularly as well as the special worship services such as Maundy Thursday, etc.,
Attend and participate in Bible Study
Join a Sunday School Class
