Have you started yet? The closets, the drawers, the kitchen, the garage… you get the picture… the UMW Rummage and Bake sale is in a few days – just ten to be exact. You don’t have a lot of time left if you haven’t started yet. This is the perfect answer to the question “What am I to do with these things I don’t need or use anymore?”

YAY!!! The answer is here!

UMW members will be at the Fellowship Hall from Tuesday, February 26 from noon until 2 p.m., and on Wednesday, February 27th from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. and on Thursday, February, 28th from 8 a.m. until noon to accept and handle your donations. They will sort and price your items for the sale. And you will have a neat and reduced “stuff” inventory. Isn’t that all what we wish for?

It’s always amazing that some of us don’t have anything to get rid of! So if you fall into that small category of people and have not a thing to donate, there IS something you can do.

In addition to the rummage that is sold, the bake sale is an important part of the fun weekend as well. Donations of cakes, cookies, pies, candies, anything that will satisfy a sweet tooth will be welcomed and appreciated. Sweet treats can be brought to the church on Thursday or Friday.

Don’t forget to block out time to browse the offerings that await you when the sale begins on Friday. They say “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” The best items go fast and early, so plan to be there as early as possible. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Friday until 4:00 p.m. and Saturday at 8::00 until noon.

Don’t forget… Friday, March 1 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
and Saturday, March 2 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
