Playing Spoons

Hemphill’s own Pineywood’s Pick’rs first Annual ALL DAY JAMMING and Soup on the Ground was a great success.  Musicians from all over East Texas came to enjoy a day of pickin’, singin’ and eatin’.  You always have plenty of food at a good “jam” and this one was no exception.  Thirty plus folks  in attendance  played mountain dulcimers, fiddles, banjos, pickin’ sticks, autoharps, guitars, penny whistles, harmonicas recorders, a string bass, a dobro and spoons.

The “Jam” was held at First  United Methodist of Hemphill.  The Pick’rs are hoping to make this an annual event because everybody just had so much fun.
